Writing Samples

Writing has always been a big part of my life - be it for school, work or personal use.

In high school, I served as Editor-in-Chief of the school newspaper during my senior. It was by no means an easy job, but it was one that I found a great deal of satisfaction in. The position gave me skills that I continue to use today, including:

Time Management - deadlines, deadlines, deadlines!
Leadership - managing a staff of 8 students, all with their own busy schedules and unique personalities.
Collaboration - among the advisor, teaching staff and other organizations.
Writing - of course!
Editing - attention to detail can never be undersold.

But as we all know, writing is a skill that is never retired. So, of course, it continued into my college career. From an essay analyzing "The Other" in relation to famous literary characters to research papers on international business and group project assignments, you can find a wide range of my writing samples below.

JLR ACQUISITION STRATEGIC ANALYSIS 2017

For one of the final courses of my undergraduate career, I took Global Strategy, which turned out to be one of my favorite classes! Our final exam consisted of a strategic analysis of Jaguar Land Rover's intentions to acquire an international luxury brand.

STRATEGIC CASE ANALYSES 2017

In my Global Strategy course, I worked with a group of five peers in conducting a strategic analysis of three international companies based on a selection of Harvard Business School cases.

CBS STRATEGIC ANALYSIS REPORT 2017

In Spring 2017, I took a course on Strategic Management for which I completed a strategic analysis report for CBS Corporation. After completing an analysis of the business' current state, I provided a recommendation for future implementation.

SLG ARTICLE SERIES 2017

During my internship with Shields Legal Group, I wrote numerous articles for their website blogs. These articles were written with the aim of bringing business owners to the website by writing about topics important to them.

WHITE PAPER SERIES 2017

My internship with Shields Legal Group also involved the writing of White Papers, also aimed toward business owners as a marketing strategy. As Shields Legal Group is a law firm, I wrote about the effects of different cases on business regulations.

CAMBRIDGE RESEARCH PAPER 2016

In my International Business course, I wrote a research paper with two colleagues. It was accepted to be presented at the Cambridge Business and Economics Conference in 2016.

HUMANITIES PAPER 2014

During my freshman year, I took a Humanities course where I wrote a short paper on "The Other" based on the readings we had been assigned for the semester. Click below to read it in full.
