NTX GIVING DAY
In my junior year, I took a Product & Brand Management course, in which I was assigned the following project: help a local non-profit advertise for North Texas Giving Day (NTXGD) on September 22, 2016.

NTXGD is a day on which people in the North Texas area are encouraged to donate to non-profit organizations in their area.

The non-profit I chose to work with was Cancer Support Community North Texas (CSCNT).

In the days leading up to NTX Giving Day, I put together a handful of graphics for the organization to utilize on their Facebook page to encourage donations. I included the phrase "Get Up and Give" in most of my work, as that was the NTXGD hashtag being utilized.

The theme of this campaign was to showcase actual* cancer patients in a way that made you wonder, "What if that was my sister? My friend or my brother or my wife?" I wanted to connect with people on an emotional level and show them that their money would go toward helping cancer patients who really are someone's parent or friend or spouse.

Below, you can find examples of the campaign I put together.

*Disclaimer: I was unable to get access to pictures of the actual cancer patients that CSCNT was helping, so the images below were mock-ups with pictures I found on the Internet.
